Franco Battiato also spent much of his time on books, and from books he drew some of the pearls that will be presented again on Friday 11 July in Franco Battiato e il cinghiale bianco. Recounting the fundamental years in which Battiato revolutionised the world of Italian music will be Fabio Zuffanti, one of the most competent biographers of the Sicilian Maestro, in bookshops with his definitive text Sacre sinfonie. Battiato: tutta la storia (Il Castello 2025). On this occasion, Andrea Amati, a singer and songwriter from Rimini, will take the stage with him. Accompanied by Stefano Zambardino's piano, he will offer re-readings of some of the pearls of Battiato's repertoire.

It will be an enthralling journey into the mystery of those lyrics and music that seem to come from another universe. A universe in which the famous white boar dwells.
